Owensboro Man Faces Drunk Driving Charges after Wreck
DAVIESS CO., KY - Kentucky State Police said Phillip Jason Roberts, 39, was charged with driving drunk after crashing his car on KY 405 near the Wrights Landing Road intersection.  KSP said this is his third DUI arrest.

EVANSVILLE - Despite tough economic times, Evansville Mayor Jonathan Weinzapfel says the city is doing well.  The mayor said Whirlpool's closing will have ripple effects throughout the community, but several other businesses and construction projects are bringing new jobs to the city.

FRANKFORT, KY - A Kentucky House committee has approved a proposed $17.5 billion state budget for the next two years.  The bill now heads to the full House for a possible floor vote on Wednesday.
18 Horses Rescued: Owner Facing 13 Charges of Cruelty To Animals
VAND. CO., IN - Eighteen horses are rescued from a home on South Green River Rd. Tuesday, after Sheriff's deputies say they were living in deplorable conditions. The owner of the horses, 54 year old, Steven Lee Duncan, Sr., is now facing 13 counts of animal cruelty.
